I have been inspired by Africa, its wilderness and its people from as far back as my earliest memories. I remember been haunted by the sound of a rawhide drum when other were complaining of the noise.
I remember reading African history when it was still considered treasonous by the authorities. Africa affects everyone, and all have an opinion, be it inspirational or negative.
I am haunted by Africa and all that it stands for, the wilderness, the social indicators of humanity and the promise of the future.
I have guided first time Africa travellers as well as thirty-safari veterans. I have helped lodges that are not operating to full potential, have trained people that have never had any previous guest experience and written stories and articles for magazines and travel websites.
