Growing up I felt similar sentiments whilst alone on the farm, looking at rock art, turning a piece of pottery around in my fingers, wondering how the bone tool had been made. I was a dreamer, with dreams built on a yearning to know who carved, painted and made the artefacts I found.

Africa is the birthplace of Mankind and new studies indicate that it may be the birthplace of consciousness. The oldest artwork and the oldest known examples of body adornments have been found in Africa.
It is time to rekindle the spirit of the first people, and shape a new way forward for humanity.
